Fosgate Shallow Subs?

Hey, was wondering if these fosgate shallow mounts that i've been seeing on the net sound equiv to a regular sub, or is the bass reduced a lot by the small size? dont have a lot of room in the whip thus why i was looking at them, for a wedge

They dont play very deep at all. The Fs on them are way too high. Ive done tons of testing and comparisons between them, the Kicker CVT's and the Pioneer TS-SW3041D's. The Pioneer kills them both (for 12's anyway).

How do the RF 12" shallows compare to the regular RF 12"s?

aight thanks, then i definately won't be going with the shallow mounts if they won't hit deep at all, thnx

JL is coming out with their new line of shallows soon. Might want to check into them. I havent heard much about them but I saw them on their website and said they were coming out quite soon. Spring I think?

Pioneers are nice...re audio make some shallows now...
