pimpedout97x Posted April 10, 2008 Report Share Posted April 10, 2008 i have the viper 791xv on my explorer and ive always liked it...i also had bought a compustar for it way back (years ago) on ebay, supposedly new, from some store that sold compustar alarms...it ended up being bad, so thats why im kinda leaning away from compustar, but i do know lots of people that like them. i might try them out again. the 791xv is like 200 new..should i just stick with that? i might not even get the 791xv, unless i want the remote start...i have a manual (mini cooper) do you think i should risk doing remote start, or not? anyone running manual's with remote starts? also, my wiring diagram for the MINI says i need this bypass unit: "791 Bypass Module" is that just a generic bypass module that can be had anywhere online? any brand i should look into getting for that bypass? this is what it all says, what else would i need? 94_DC4 Posted April 12, 2008 Report Share Posted April 12, 2008 Viper 5900. It has pretty much the same features as the 791xv just has better range with the SST.
