recent termlab numbers for the t2s2-13

Recommended Posts

Coworker of mine has one of the new T2 13" sub on a t1000.1bdcp in a 2 door hatchback focus stock electrical, 60amp hour agm in back and 0 gauge wire, voltage stays above 13v full volume.

Box is 3.6 cuft net wooden dowel bracing, 55" port area, 33-34HZ tune. Sub up port up to keep vibrations down. Sounds better this way.

140.9 @ 42HZ

140 @ 45HZ

139.? @ 38HZ

138.? @ 28HZ

Basically from 36-48HZ it's playing 139-140.9 db

Plays down 25HZ with great authority.

That's all on the termlab sealed up on the dash.

More power will be put on it by next summer. He is saving for electrical upgrades and t2500.1bdcp.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

no updates, looks like he is selling it. he wants a different car and wants to save weight, wants a faster car.

if he was to keep it I think we would play around with shrinking the box volume some. it plays lows great but the higher frequencies didn't sound all that great. rechecked the box and it was closer to 3.9 after displacements. a smaller box would have helped I think.
