Distortion and power loss bi amp system

I'm having a weird issue when combining 2 amps together in the Camaro.

The front stage is running off the Crossfire CF302 at 2 Ohms.

I removed the JL Audio 1000.1 and replaced it with an Avionixx 2800M to push the 3 Coustic 12's @ 1.3 Ohms.

I have to make use of the box I build the other day.

When I go to play the Eclipse CD player the volume cuts out at over a setting of 50 and the sound is distorted and fades in and out.

I changed out the Eclipse 5442 for the 8443 thinking I blew the 5V RCA outputs. Still same problem.

I disconnected the Avionixx's ground to see if the amp was the issue, only running the Crossfire amp.

It still did it UNTIL I removed the Avionixx power lead as well.

Both amps are being fed off the same 4 gauge wire from the battery.

When the Avionixx is disconnected completely, I have normal operating sound from the Crossfire amp.

I'm not sure why that is.

I think the Crossfire running at 2 ohms is drawing more current since it's a Class AB, but I feel the Avionixx, which is a Class AB as well.

There must be some sort of interference when the Avionixx power lead is connected. Like some sort of internal drainage or feedback coming from the Avionixx.

The same Avionixx amp worked when it was in Devin's truck but she had 0 gauge Stinger wiring.

I think I may just reinstall the JL Audio amp since it was running @ 2 Ohm and it's a Class D amp.

One thing I can try is to run a 8G wire to the Crossfire itself and let the Avionixx have the 4 g wire.

The Camaro still has the stock alternator, 105/80 amps at idle.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
