_94fleet Posted June 29, 2015 Report Posted June 29, 2015 So i have seen this question asked a ton on this forum but every set up is difft so here goes my question. I ordered a mechaman 250A alt for my car. its a 1994 cadillac fleetwood. I have a soundqubed 3500 and 4-120. xs d3400 under the hood and a xp3000 in the trunk. big 3. stock alt is 140A i believe. I was getting into 11.8v before. Do you guys think the 250 will be enough or should i cancel my order and opt for the 370 mechman offers? _94fleet Posted June 29, 2015 Author Report Posted June 29, 2015 O Im not doubting it being a true Impala. Just saying its last of the real deal. V8, full frame, rwd. I love those cars. I just like the fleetwoods interior better. Similar cars. All my upgrades are made for Impalas. Broke_Audio_Addict Posted June 29, 2015 Report Posted June 29, 2015 Them Fleetwood's are so sexy there hasn't been a car as big as it made since. Saw a one owner roadmaster with 80k on it for $6k a few weeks ago wish I had the extra cash to pick it up. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Miguels Posted June 29, 2015 Report Posted June 29, 2015 how much more is the 370A like $100 more? it gives you room for upgrades just in case. thats why i went with the 370A.. 250a is good enough for what you say you will run. one other thing. do you run your car hard? the 370a will limit you there. my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
