Deeznutz
I need a better understanding of a L-shaped port measurement. I read you measure down the center of the port. Here is what I have. I need a 100sq in port area x's 18" length for the new enclosure. I'm making a rectangular port 7.0625"(width) x 14.125"(length) to get there. The box is 17.5" tall including a double baffle. I did a mock up of the port. I was able to measure from the top of the box down to the middle of the horizontal port portion. Straight down is 13.875". Than across to the end I measured the rest of the way to get the needed 18". Just need to know if I did it right??? Here is what I want it to look like. Ofcourse I do not know the overall length of the port measurement. This is what I want to build exactly. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys, -Frank
Broke_Audio_Addict
Yes you measured the length the proper way. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
