ok i need the codecs for windows media player but i have no clue where to get them. i need them to play certain types of videos or something i think.

does microsoft have them available to download for free?

get the DivX codecs...just google codecs and find the DivX website, download their codec package and it should work. Thats what i use for my windows media and ive never had a problem with it.

Its usually packed with all the codecs you need...for me atleast

if you are on a mac you will need the codec pack Flip4Mac
