Mr DeeBeez
I have another friend who wants me to build him a box for a sundown e 15. It will be going in the trunk of a Toyota Camry. I think it would have to be sub up, port back due to the trunk opening. Im thinking 3 cubic feet tuned to 35hz. could i get a design please? hate seeing good subs go into prefabs when i can build them a better box for cheaper. Thanks for the help! and i can get max dimensions soon once he is off of work. Triticum Agricolam
If there is anyway you can avoid facing the sub up, it would be best for you to do so. Subs up in trunk car are just a recipe for trunk rattle, which is just wasted energy that would otherwise be bass. Joe X
See if this can fit, if not it can be changed, power: to sub rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 3", figure is just an assembly guide: NOTE: If building outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box to test fit in it's way inside.
