Glue for winding voice coil

guys m looking for a glue for winding 3.75" voice coil with aluminium former and for 2000 rms which can take heat upto 220 degree celsius please help

Seriously though no one is going to come out and give you the answer because A: they dont know; or B: it's a trade secret and they dont want to give out their "sources".

Your going to have to do your own research for the most part, possibly experiment with some things.

Many companies use a precoated wire and as the coil is wound around the former they brush on a solvent to activate the adhesive on the wire.

Some use a self bonding wire as well.

Now many companies will do it differently, and depending on the uses of the voice coil maybe done differently.

To wind a coil your really going to need a jig to spin the former slowly and evenly while your applying an equal amount of tension and keeping the wire on track and applying adhesive.

Its something that will take some time Im sure to get the hang of.

Your best bet would be finding a coil to be bought online that fits your needs or have one made by a company that does just that.

But if you must continue Ive heard of people using epoxy but finding the right viscosity is key, it worked for some but these are coils in the 400watt range..

Maybe try contacting Hernon http://www.hernon.com and tell them your looking for "voice coil bonder" and tell them what type of former your using and the heat it must handle.

Im sure they may have something, but then the next thing is if they will sell to the average joe and dont have a minimum order policy.
Also its worth adding that heat is needed to cure this stuff.

Edit: Maybe this place still sells it, not sure worth a shot I guess, but no guarantees on if it meets all your requirements.
