Wicks Posted August 28, 2015 Report Share Posted August 28, 2015 I agree, some of the newer compression ends are pretty decent, but you also have to buy a compression tool. Not a big deal, but extra gear. I tried some really fancy coax cable (Canare LV-77s) that had a stranded center conductor. Was horrible to try and fit into a crimp/compression end, but I loved the cable. Ultimately I was just running out of room along my door sill to run at least four big coax cables. So I opted for one tiny little optical cable and love it......apart from the digital connection issues that Apple has with an external processor.
