dsw422
Ok.. so here is what I came up with for u.. 2 cu.ft. Tuned to 34.25 hz.. gives you good output and with cabin gain, low notes will be able to be played better.. Here is the difference between a 1 cuft box and the 2 cu ft box 2014 Ford Focus SE Sedan Factory Sony 10 Speaker Sound System 1994 Ford Bronco Dual head unit (i kno) Sony door speakers Kenwood Rear Speakers Custom Center console in the works. will house an NVX NSW10" https://m.facebook.com/WinnsCustomCarAudio/
MatthewBigBossWilliams
Thanks man. I think I could just have home depot cut out the board for this and I just put it together myself. what do you think?
dsw422
Thanks man. I think I could just have home depot cut out the board for this and I just put it together myself. what do you think? Of course.. just make sure they are accurate with their cuts.. I usually have them cut 1/8th larger than I want so I can assemble and sand smooth.. worse thing to have are undercut joints 2014 Ford Focus SE Sedan Factory Sony 10 Speaker Sound System 1994 Ford Bronco Dual head unit (i kno) Sony door speakers Kenwood Rear Speakers Custom Center console in the works. will house an NVX NSW10" https://m.facebook.com/WinnsCustomCarAudio/
dsw422
Also, be sure to add some bracing to the box as i didn't add any to the pic.. 2 1.5 inch dowels would work fine or a window brace.. it's up to u really 2014 Ford Focus SE Sedan Factory Sony 10 Speaker Sound System 1994 Ford Bronco Dual head unit (i kno) Sony door speakers Kenwood Rear Speakers Custom Center console in the works. will house an NVX NSW10" https://m.facebook.com/WinnsCustomCarAudio/
MatthewBigBossWilliams
I have no idea by the bracing factor. where would I put that? also I am going to send you a picture of the trunk hatchback because I have a battery back there and would need a spot for that and the amp. dsw422
Here is what I am talking about with bracing.. 2 1.5 inch dowels in the main box area and 1 1.5 inch dowels place in port area centered between the other 2..Be sure also to double baffle the front. 2014 Ford Focus SE Sedan Factory Sony 10 Speaker Sound System 1994 Ford Bronco Dual head unit (i kno) Sony door speakers Kenwood Rear Speakers Custom Center console in the works. will house an NVX NSW10" https://m.facebook.com/WinnsCustomCarAudio/

Here is the difference between a 1 cuft box and the 2 cu ft box I appreciate you trying to help one of dc's customers but this box will destroy the sub, we use a light suspension on our subs which in turn means they are designed for smaller enclosures if you go larger then 1 cube you will drastically decrease the power handling of the sub and sense he is using a 1500watt amp you dont want that to happen
MatthewBigBossWilliams
Yeah I talked to DC today also man they told me any higher was a no go. So do you think you can help me with a 1 cubic foot design?
