LoudBlazer Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 Well i got a new Crunch GP2500, hooked it up and it was looking like the subs were pushing in on bass notes. SO i played with the speakers wires still the same, then i switched rcs cause my h/u has black sub rcas (no red or black outs) as does the crunch amp so im its a hit or miss for rca preout polarity. Well soon as i switched rcs it looked a lil better then i turned down the volume go close the back door so i can bump it agian and no bass. I test everything out with no power. I looked at the inline fues (200amp ) didnt notice anything so i kept messin with the amp. Well i take out the inline fuse this time and it has a crack. If the amp isnt pushin out over 2000watt@2ohm should my fuse blow or would switching rca polarity maybe cause that? Im at a total loss right now. 1997 2 Door Blazer Bagged & Body Dropped SBC/TH350

Mosin Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 well im sure on rca's its jus a matter or left and right channel. am i right? and my best guess is that it maybe the amp itself. try another amp if possible and make sure no + n - wires are touchin Derp.
