reedal
Are you sure? Because it appeared that you didn't know what I was talking about? It would be better if you removed the sub from the enclosure and measured the VC's individually and post what they read SMD Tool Map https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/193176-smd-tool-map-new-november-2014/ Build log https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/197217-reeds-03-tahoe-hat-sqaq-singer-xs-shca-cockbox-80prs/?page=

reedal
Your sub is fine. Just don't max everything out, use an oscope or DD-1 or other distortion detection tool to find out where your head unit distorts at, don't turn it past that point, and same thing for your amp at your HU max clean volume. Do that and you should have good life from your sub. And stay away from "boosted" music SMD Tool Map https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/193176-smd-tool-map-new-november-2014/ Build log https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/197217-reeds-03-tahoe-hat-sqaq-singer-xs-shca-cockbox-80prs/?page=
