Masterbasser Posted August 9, 2015 Report Share Posted August 9, 2015 I received a recone with different coils for my subwoofer, the coil and cone are seperate, is the correct order to shim and glue the supension and coil down and then to glue the cone down? whats a good process for glueing the cone to the coil/ suspension? audiofanaticz Posted August 11, 2015 Report Share Posted August 11, 2015 Must be one of those new Sound Qubed recones that come disassembled to reduce cost and build time, but cost more than there pre assembled drop in recones? You need a rubber toughened ca glue. The glue is going to need to handle heat since the voice coil former can get hot.
