xpoppadaddyx
Can someone help!!! The hood release latch cable will not engage and open the hood. I have searched the web and found one video, but this guy has an Impala. My set up is different so that method will not work. Any help with manually opening the hood would be greatly appreciated. 2002 Chevy Trailblazer (Build) 2013 Nissan Altima (Build) Poppa's YouTube Channel Poppa's FB Page Poppa's Instagram

Yeah that definitely would have worked for you, but in my case Caprice's use a different bracket that your finger can't fit through. I have taken off the front grill and it got dark. Thinking about just removing the 3 bolts holding the latch on. 2002 Chevy Trailblazer (Build) 2013 Nissan Altima (Build) Poppa's YouTube Channel Poppa's FB Page Poppa's Instagram

xpoppadaddyx
So I found out how to fix mine so for whom ever wants to know first remove the grill. There are some Allen Screws holding it in place that you will have to remove the pop the girll off. 2002 Chevy Trailblazer (Build) 2013 Nissan Altima (Build) Poppa's YouTube Channel Poppa's FB Page Poppa's Instagram

xpoppadaddyx
Then this latch was dangling and I used some brake parts cleaner and lube, cleaned it, dried it, put it back together, then prayed. It had tons of gunk in it. 2002 Chevy Trailblazer (Build) 2013 Nissan Altima (Build) Poppa's YouTube Channel Poppa's FB Page Poppa's Instagram
xpoppadaddyx
It worked out and sorry for the multiple single posts. I'm not forum savvy, but I would like to know how to do multiple post. What you're looking at is the hole and the latch that the cable moves over. Either way it was a success!!! 2002 Chevy Trailblazer (Build) 2013 Nissan Altima (Build) Poppa's YouTube Channel Poppa's FB Page Poppa's Instagram
