Hifonics Posted August 23, 2015 Report Posted August 23, 2015 Hey guys, I was wondering if one of you experienced box builders could help me design a new box. I'd like to start my build next week. My current box is tuned very low (29hz). This time around, I would like to tune closer to 35hz. Max dims are 35Lx20Wx30H. Would have to be sub up, port up in my application (back seat of supercrew f150). I tried a few designs myself but I am having a rough go of it; peaking at around 35hz and dropping off at 45hz... not a wide range. I have an 18" Ascendant Audio Mayhem powered by a Crescendo BC3500. High output alt and 2nd battery. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Only thing is, it has to be able to be removed from the truck on ocasion. I am also planning on building a removable false floor for it to sit on top of. My amp will be going under it. So the box will be sitting roughly 5" higher than it is now. Current box specs: Click the link to see bigger image.
