shogen Posted August 25, 2015 Report Posted August 25, 2015 Looking to replace my current GTX 660 Ti .. I will say that so far haven't really had much of an issue w/ what I do but want to upgrade for no more than $200 ... AMD has been what I've looked at but wondering if there is much to be had at that price point that would be a good upgrade to my current setup ... Build: i7 3930k @ 3.2 16GB RAM 160GB Intel SSD320 series GTX 660 Ti Not sure it be much worth to do though. Want to get back into battlefield. Looking at Fallout 4, Borderlands and H1Z1 ..Currently play alot of GTA V ... Any recommendations for this sad "used to be" gamer... lol Pioneer Premier P880PRS ll Front Stage: US Acoustics 4060 - Random speakers currently ll Sub Stage: Crescendo BC3500D - 15" Xcon sealed @ 3.28 cubes ll Electrical: - Kinetik HC1800(front) NEW***DieHard P-2(rear) beaker- I know this sounds like a lot of anime bullshit, but it is true.
RooTxBeeR Posted August 25, 2015 Report Posted August 25, 2015 I think if you are more on a budget grab a amd card. Nvidia in the other hand has better performance on majority of games currently. But amd will have an advantage one games start coming out in dx12. RainStryke Posted August 25, 2015 Report Posted August 25, 2015 GTX 660Ti was a 300-350 dollar card for it's time. I wouldn't recommend moving from that card unless you plan on waiting for another generation past what is out or up your budget. Otherwise, the $200 will not be well spent with your current options.
