Box spec and ideas 2-10 xfl 1044 in 02 mustang gt

Hello , new to the forum here, decided to come to the best for some help.

Need some box specs and possible design help,

2-10 ab xfl 1044 subs on a 120.1 ab amp , trying to get a box built for an 02 mustang gt , my friend is a carpenter , and i have built boxes , but this is seeming quite difficult with the room i am givien

Also should i build the box to face out back seat or sub towards trunk? Im looking for spl, any help would be very much appreciated, thank you

Forward facing sealed off seems to do okay? For a Mustang that is....you're screwed on SPL regardless, just a heads up

Here is a suggestion, need to verify the suggested dimensions will work, power: to subs rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 4 1/4", figure is just an assembly guide, bracing is 1" wooden dowel rods:

NOTE: If building outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box to test fit in it's way inside.

If you can measure your trunk and build a cardboard box to see what can go through the trunk opening, maybe the above could be optimized a little.

Also subs are 1000rms a piece and amp is rated @2200 watts rms , also much won't fit through trunk if i go through back seat i can get 12" high 32" wide and up to 32" deep
