gckless Posted September 3, 2015 Report Posted September 3, 2015 So, I have a double-DIN to single-DIN dash kit (this here: http://www.amazon.com/METRA-99-3305-2006-Single-DIN-Multi/dp/B00K3AINSI), and I need to fill the space in the slot. I am going to cut a sheet of 1/8" ABS plastic to fit in there vertically right at the front, so it will be closed off. I will be putting a digital voltage meter/ammeter combo on the left side, and then the PAC LC-1 knob, and possibly the mic for the phone functions (can be deleted, I have never used it before). So I need to fill the right section of it, which is almost half. Like 1" x 3" at most. My fallback is putting two switches there, one for amp lights and one for amp fans. I was going to put those in the back on the amp rack, but if I can't find anything useful to put in the dash I'll put those there. I was thinking digital thermometer with the probe right at the amps. It's ok, but not sure I like it. Who's got ideas? "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand. yurvalentine Posted September 3, 2015 Report Posted September 3, 2015 One thing I am going to try is putting all my audio gear on a switch, so that I can power it all on without turning the car to accessory...it's not a big deal, but it's something I would like to have.
