Polar Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Didnt know what I was missing out on until I installed these. Sound is amazing utilizing the 3 way active on the 80-PRS. I have to deaden the door still and I will most likely this weekend. Still playing with all the damn little settings on the HU but for 147 bucks, cant beat the sound from these. 2000 Ford Ranger Sport Ext Digital Designs DD915J 4.91 net birch box, inch port @ 33hz FSD FZ2600 FSD FZ100.4 Pioneer DEH80PRS PRV Audio 6MB200-4 6-1/2" Midbass Woofers Tymphany BC25SC08-04 1" Silk Dome Neodymium Tweeters with Waveguide

Polar Posted September 21, 2015 Author Report Posted September 21, 2015 they can handle all that, once I deaden and seal the doors, sound like a sick cat is in there now with no deadener. 2000 Ford Ranger Sport Ext Digital Designs DD915J 4.91 net birch box, inch port @ 33hz FSD FZ2600 FSD FZ100.4 Pioneer DEH80PRS PRV Audio 6MB200-4 6-1/2" Midbass Woofers Tymphany BC25SC08-04 1" Silk Dome Neodymium Tweeters with Waveguide
Carnines Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Why not use them solely for midrange and put a mid bass driver under your seat or in the kick
Polar Posted September 21, 2015 Author Report Posted September 21, 2015 hmmmm, I like the sounds of that. Like an 8? Im tapped out for a little bit but wold love to make some new doors with exactly what youre talking about 2000 Ford Ranger Sport Ext Digital Designs DD915J 4.91 net birch box, inch port @ 33hz FSD FZ2600 FSD FZ100.4 Pioneer DEH80PRS PRV Audio 6MB200-4 6-1/2" Midbass Woofers Tymphany BC25SC08-04 1" Silk Dome Neodymium Tweeters with Waveguide
Carnines Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Yea you can get a silver flute 8 for 36 bucks a piece and they are great for the price. Vent them in your kick panels or place them under the under your seats in an enclosure to play 50 hz to around 200 or whatever. For under seats you don't want to play frequencies more than 300 or so or it becomes too directional. Kicks you can do whatever you want but id just let the 8 inch flutes play like 50-200 hz, prvs cover 200-2500 and your tymphanies cover 2500-20k
