You put some small things on the cone (if it is firing upwards) and test on different tones on low volume. I personally use wire ferrules, because you can easily hear them rattle. When these things stop making noise at one frequency and rattle at the others - that's your tuning.

I'll have to try that lol, and thanks for the support! I enjoy doing things like this.

Anyhow, a little update:

The TL meter left Texas this morning and should be here tomorrow!

I will be getting the wood and cutting tomorrow

Thursday will be finalizing assembly and some testing before class.

And Friday is my birthday, but hopefully there will be some time in the morning and afternoon for more testing!
