firebirdude Posted October 20, 2015 Report Posted October 20, 2015 You have the positive and negative reversed on ONE sub. Follow the speaker wire from each sub and to your amp. Maybe you have it crossed at your amp or at the subwoofer.

One way to test for it is to do what called the pop test. Unhook the speaker wires where they go into the amp and touch them briefly to a 9 volt battery. With the positive wire going to the positive terminal on the battery the cone should move out. _paralyzed_ Posted October 20, 2015 Report Posted October 20, 2015 Like was said, negative and positive are reversed on one sub.Being out of phase makes one sub push, while the other one pulls. This cancels out the sound from one another. But now that we are thinking about phase I wonder if one of your subs has the two voice coils out of phase.Basically check the wiring. Make sure all positives go to positive and all negatives go to negative.
