Opinions on a 6.24cuft box for 3 db drive wd platinum subs tuned to 31hz.

originally built the box for 2 of them, but now have a 3rd one and put it in the box. is 6.24 cuft enough for 3 12s after displacements or should i invert subs to get alittle back?

6.24 should be enough for 3 12s but who know if you will have proper port area etc, port a sketch of your box with dimensions and the vehicle you have to get better feedback.

Box length is 50in, height is 20,depth is 19. Port is 5in wide, 31in deep and 17.5 tall. It's in a 04 f250 ext cab truck with subs firing up and port side towards the passenger door

I don't know if I makes a difference but 2 are behind the port board but 1 is not

Sounds good to me I was just worried about not enough cuft for 3 12s and that one not being behind port board if that would effect sound

I wouldn't worry about not having enough space, bad things happen from having too much space, having not enough isn't usually an issue.

As far as having one without the port divider behind it, it would be better if they all had the same space behind them, but I doubt you will have any problems. Where you really run into issues is when the inside of the port fires directly at one sub and not the others, but that's not what you have going on.
