Triticum Agricolam
You don't think so? Explain Like Joe X said, as you increase box volume, you increase the output/efficiency. The opposite is true when you decrease box volume. You get greater output like it is now than what you would with a smaller box. Also you are overpowering quite a bit, how much of an improvement are you looking for? Rodlow1
Trying to gain alittle more on the meter. Don't mind building another box for the slightest gain. Joe X
Tune higher by making the port shorter, you will need to up your subsonic filter a little and will lose some bottom end but it may meter somewhat higher, this is a simple change you can do without rebuilding. You can also round the inner edges of the port as best as you can, if this isn't enough then a different box may be needed, also if you see stuff flexing a lot anywhere you need to try to stop it or at least reduce it, if not done so likely some nice deadening will help. Rodlow1
I have adjusted amp settings. Also adding resin and mat to the box. Rounding corners. Added deadener to roof and back hatch. Next step is rebuilding box. Maybe around 12 cubes. The height and width is perfect. Shorting the length. Maybe tuning around 37. Don't know if there will be a big change between tuning at 34 or 37 hz 151.0 Sealed http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/196628-2007-escalade-build-my-first-install/
Joe X
For a test you can add 2 cubic feet worth of solid stuff inside the box, like MDF, that will also up tuning close to 37Hz.
