Bryont Posted December 23, 2015 Author Report Posted December 23, 2015 was really hoping i could have fit all 3 though
Joe X Posted December 23, 2015 Report Posted December 23, 2015 That happens to all of us but overtime you can upgrade to some killer 12, some people can go over 150dB in a trunk car on two 12s!
Bryont Posted December 23, 2015 Author Report Posted December 23, 2015 150dB sounds good to me also would it change anything if i moved the speakers to mount on the top of the box and keep the port where it is?
Joe X Posted December 23, 2015 Report Posted December 23, 2015 Yes, you don't want to fire up the subs in a trunk car due to lid rattling, best is firing everything back or if you are sealing off and seats fold down, fire everything forward.
Bryont Posted December 23, 2015 Author Report Posted December 23, 2015 ok then firing forward with the seat down is the way im going. Thanks again for all the help. Its gonna be at least a week until i can build it but once its done ill post a youtube link of it.
Joe X Posted December 23, 2015 Report Posted December 23, 2015 Sealing off is a pretty hard job, take a look: A pretty hard job to do, you also have to cover any holes on the rear deck, if you are not willing to do this much work firing back is your best bet, besides you can change it if you want later on.
Bryont Posted December 23, 2015 Author Report Posted December 23, 2015 Yea not going that far so I guess I'll be firing back for now
Joe X Posted December 23, 2015 Report Posted December 23, 2015 Ok, have someone do you perfect cuts on the wood as possible, it will assemble easy and won't need to deal with leaks, if you have any questions along the way, let me know.
