Need help on box for two good old Fosgate 12s

First off being a noob let me start off saying, Hello everyone! Dont want to come in here looking like this is my first post. Then demanding a box design, o yea guess i am that guy. Sorry and thanks in advance. But as you can see im in need of help designing a box. Have 10+ yrs in the framing industry, but i was always handed a blueprint and told "build this". So as far as building the box, think im more than capable of doing. Just need the blueprint, lol. Been reading for two days now and kinda understand the engineer part of it but all these numbers and calculators are confusing. But anyway to the point. Would like a dual 12 vented in the center with vent and subs facing forward. Subs are Fosgate Punch Hx2 DVC 4ohm(rfd2212). Box can be no larger than 15x32x24 tuned to 35hz. Think it can be done with those dimensions. Will be run by a Fosgate Power 1000bd (500watts 4ohm).

5.36cuft so you have the space for a pair of 12" subs... using this max size if you went with 2 x 4" ports @ 6.25" long you would get 35hz with a net box volume of 5.26cuft and I am sure this is more than the subs recomended specs so its totally possible to do what you want... as for port area I dont know what anyone would recomend ...... the subs want 2cuft so you could build a box to fit with a gross size of 4.5... after sub and port displacement you could do 2 x 4" ports at 8.25" long and have a 34.85hz tune and the subs would be in exactly 2cuft each..... just a rough proof of concept to get it started

I can use a calculator to get me all the dimensions with the rite volumes and all. Just can not figure out how to include the L-shaped slotted port i want.

Here is a suggestion for a trunk car, power: to subs rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 3 3/4", figure is just an assembly guide:

NOTE: If building outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box to test fit in it's way inside.

You are the man! Thanks! Got a few more questions and im ready to get this build going. If you dont mind me asking what calculator/program you use, for future reference. I found the Torres calculator, playing around with it. Plugging in your numbers to get better understanding for future builds. Lastly is displacement taken out for bracing or just the speakers and port and back corner angles. How wide are the two angles in the back corners?

Torres should serve you well to test the above, plug the numbers in and you should get something relatively close to the box specs I left you, in this case the port acts as bracing (so no extra bracing exists) and since the calculator figures the port displacement you don't need to care about adding it, the other displacements are the subs and the 45s.

...but yea in torres calculator i got 4.08ft3/37.17hz. I will be going with your specs though, just had to try for myself
