I don't even know what the T/S for these are or what you have done already. What conflicting information from what calcs? And to be able to talk to the guy who inspired you to begin with? Wow. I was trying to say that a round port and an elliptical port are close enough in shape to not make much of a difference sonically. Efficiency is another another matter. My plan was to make the port cross section a true ellipse, more rounded on the ends. There's a mathematical formula for plotting a true ellipse, as well as a formula for calculating area. I emailed George Wu at Atomic and he sent me the T/S parameters for the subs. When I plugged the numbers into some of the easily available online box calcs, I was getting net ft3 from 3.something ft3 to 9 ft3 per sub. That's why I posted here- I've seen JoeX and TriticumAgricolam spit out specs freely, thought I might get some help here.
