s5300 Posted January 26, 2016 Author Report Posted January 26, 2016 buy a matching battery for the trunk and call it a day. I uh, don't exactly think I understand what you're saying. I obviously can't run two subs @ 1200rms ea with that setup and a spare battery... Was mainly wanting to get people opinions on dual 15's with those dimensions. Also - how many watts does that battery even deliver was another question. The only thing I know is A*V and I know that battery doesn't deliver 7000watts, rofl.
MADVIBES Posted January 26, 2016 Report Posted January 26, 2016 ??? your battery delivers amps/voltage. a battery doesnt deliver watts, it helps your amplifier deliver watts, if you go to a battery website like xs power they will tell you how much power a battery will be good for. secondly you can absolutely fit 2 15" subs in that area. 3rd, where are you getting 7000 watts from DB DRAG PSYCHLONE PRO 156.3 30 SECOND AVERAGE FO MAX AT 26HZ LEGAL DASH DRIVER DOOR OPEN 158.0@30 HZ MY BEST SO FAR, HOPEFULLY A 160 COME FEBUARY. 156.9@26hz 158.0@30hz

I know it's wrong haha - how do I go about figuring out what my battery will be good for seeing as it doesn't list the Ah in the specifications or anything? So, what I was planning, put a d3100 in the front and my current battery in the back. That would work without causing a drain, right? I might end up going with 15's then - I'm going to try to re-route the latch mechanism for the seats to bring it to a lever in the front of the car so I can rear face the subs and open the cab.
MADVIBES Posted January 26, 2016 Report Posted January 26, 2016 I dont think you can fit a group 31 battery in your front, its a honda correct? I am not 100 percent sure but it might be very difficult. I would leave your lead acid battery up front and put an agm in the trunk. There's actually a HUGE spot for the battery, it has a very nice hold down as well. I did some searching and couldn't see too much about a group 31 fitting, but there was a pretty bit list of what could. I'll take some actual dimensions of it tomorrow.
MADVIBES Posted January 26, 2016 Report Posted January 26, 2016 ok, ,,,dirty secret....agm batteries hate heat. I have had two fail in 3 years. the rest of my agm batteries all survived for 5 years.
