if your gna run those subs on smaller than recommended airspace just give them a lil more than recommended power, I have 4 havoc 18s and they need 6 cubes + each and I might be giving them 5. I think u should ditch the aeroports and go slot port. its simple give your subs 6 cubes net u don't need to over do it just give them what they need, and your set

bass and bewbs.. and beer

well i built the enclosure at about 6.3 cuft, per camber, and 2 six inch prescion ports for now, waiting on the other two to arrive, sounds really good, frequency range is still awsome, link to picture https://scontent-atl3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfp1/v/t1.0-9/995347_10206104881365479_1989415866431161498_n.jpg?oh=4d1011d94c50c330d541d8a522d62733&oe=576A1C40

You're going to tune your subs that high? Thought you wanted deep bass? Atleast cut the 3rd and listen before you put 4. I bought 6" water pipe plugs from a pipe supply place. I was able to determine that I should have not cut 4 into box and just left two

Why does "deep bass" have to be low bass?

And why is 35hz considered to be tuned high?

A properly designed and built box should be able to have a wide bandwidth, and a 35hz tuning should have no problem playing down to the 25hz range.
Just because your stereo is built to run 1 specific psyclone competition class, doesn't mean that everyone else has to or needs to tune really low or consider them wrong.

35hz is high as far as I'm concerned, 18" subs peaking at 40hz sucks balls. Yes my car is set up for psychlone however I have excellent bandwith from 23-70 full tilt.

I dont think there is anything wrong with tuning high, I just think it sucks to have 18" subs and peak them at 40hz, 35hz would be the max. All I ask is he cut the 3rd in and listen before the he put the 4th in. If he had a meter it would really nice to see an output test with numbers from 20-50 with 2vs3 ports and 3vs4 ports. But eveyone is different, I happen to like that super deep steering wheel shaking bass...

If you are chasing numbers skip the test ad cut 4 ports and call it a day.

Lows doesnt depend entirely on tuning, i´ve built cars tuned to 40 hz playing down to 25 hz without any problems, f3 is the key for sure :)

End result. Steering wheel and dash shakes like a mother with the lows. No flex zone chopped n screwed does it right. waiting on the airbag to join in. Ear piercing 40 or so hertz.. I would like to upgrade the 3000.1 Audiopipe but money is the issue. I took the epicenter off i dont need to enhance my bass frequency. Unless yall would recommend it?
