audiofanaticz Posted May 3, 2016 Report Share Posted May 3, 2016 iirc displacement of the SQ 3.0 18s is 0.3 cubic feet, so inverting the pair would gain you 0.6 cubic feet of box space. you just need to be sure that the surrounds will not rub on the woofer cutout on the box or else you can possibly tear them. ShadeTreeMechanic Posted June 4, 2016 Report Share Posted June 4, 2016 I have heard of people running the AP1500 at .5 but I think the 3000 might be two 1500s in the same chassis so it might not take .5 and 1 would be pushing it. I almost bought a 1500 at one time.
