BOX BUILD FOR A SQ 3.0 18s (2)

iirc displacement of the SQ 3.0 18s is 0.3 cubic feet, so inverting the pair would gain you 0.6 cubic feet of box space.

you just need to be sure that the surrounds will not rub on the woofer cutout on the box or else you can possibly tear them.

Thanks. Ima leave then traditional. Also with the idea of box rise maybe causing resistance in my impedance my amp sees. Could i run my subs parrallel down to .5 ohm and my amp sad to say is a audiopipe 3000.1 2 ohm stable. With box rise would i be safe?

I have heard of people running the AP1500 at .5 but I think the 3000 might be two 1500s in the same chassis so it might not take .5 and 1 would be pushing it. I almost bought a 1500 at one time. Maybe someone who runs a 3000 will chime in.
