who has ALT experience with 2nd gen dodge ?

Dnt do it..it sounds very mickey mouse..sounds like alot of work and money only for a 24amp increase in power. I would just do the big 3 upgrade and if you really need more power go with an extra battery or a batcap. Battery or batcap=much less work and similar budget to what youre trying to do. Remember the batteries are what run the system and the alternator is only what charges the batteries. And by the way youre talking about upgrading to under 5k watts you could get by with an oem group series xs power under the hood and a d3100 in the back for that set up plus an h.o. alt. Dont think you need a whole bigass battery bank for that setup cuz it would really be a waste of money.
