Help with box design for 8" sub

I'm going to build a sub for some pc speakers and need a little help with the design. Basic principals should work for a pc sub, right? I'm looking to use a Dayton DCS205-4 sub and wanting a ported design, tuned somewhere around 30-35hz. But the only stipulation is that it can't be any wider that 13" OD. If a slot port can work without getting too crazy, such as insane folding, I'm fine with that, or if just a simple round port like a precision port is fine as well.

Here is a suggestion, power: to subs rated, amp subsonic filter to 30Hz, minimum port clearance 1 1/4", figure is just an assembly guide:

Wow, thanks for the fast reply. That could definately work. One question, would it a design work with the woofer and port on the same face work, at 13" wide or less? Or would there not be enough depth in the box? I ask because I may set stuff on the box and since I need it to be no more than 13" wide, I'd have to set this on the it's back with the woofer up and that wouldn't work and if I left it like that it would be huffing right on my legs. lol .. Not trying to be nit picky. Just asking if it's a feasible design.

Looks awesome, though I did screw up and neglect to say that I'm planning on putting a plate amp in the box, the Dayton SA70, which has the dimensions, 7-1/2" W x 8-11/16" H x 3-1/2" D
