hdorre Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 was thinking of the 4480 and yes the newer black onesi had the 4480 as a temp amp for a week when i went from 2 2500s to a 7k. the 4480 has been clamped by several people do do ~1700-1800. It is .5 stable, but runs hot af. I ran mine there actually. Its a budget amp, but is on the solid end of the spectrum. VFL is generally what you want (I love my 350.4 ), but the 4480s are not *bad* by any means. magillaru Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 Per Bob, the new VFL line are the same boards as the previous vfl series with the comparable rms ratings. Only difference is the casing and the wide range of selection. Seems he's sticking with what's selling most these days (3k, 7k etc). I was questionable at first regarding the new line but I would not hesitate to run any of the VFL amps. Although, not a fan of that gold. Singer Alternators Team Asshole #anothershittysingerbuild
