Saltine Posted April 19, 2008 Report Share Posted April 19, 2008 i just found out since my brother works there. when they replace the horn K5LA FTW or the train gets wrecked on the frontend. they have to recalibrate the horns. this involves a guy standing in front of the train with a laptop and termlab sensor. its for insurance reasons the train horn has to be a certain decible so many feet away coming into any crossing so ppl hear it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
