i just found out since my brother works there. when they replace the horn K5LA FTW or the train gets wrecked on the frontend. they have to recalibrate the horns.

this involves a guy standing in front of the train with a laptop and termlab sensor. its for insurance reasons the train horn has to be a certain decible so many feet away coming into any crossing so ppl hear it

Maybe if they broaden their marketplace the price will go down, hard to shell out the big money for personal use.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)
