hdorre Posted March 4, 2016 Report Share Posted March 4, 2016 Your best bet is removing it. A buddy removed his, and did a clean cut. From there, he welded steel (1/8" iirc). Then, he did foam + wood from the inside. Be aware that welding is gonna fuck your paint. What he decided to do was just dip it.
