Shyne151 Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 So we have a audiocontrol at work... says it was last calibrated in 2005. We don't use it a ton, high end installs for the RTA... and our monthly shows in the summer. so the question... how often should these be recalibrated? i'm sure it needs it, i just need some sort of reasoning to tell the owners as to why it needs it... hell it might not even need it... idk both our AC mics(two dif mics and two different AC's) the same. They bought these units wayyyyyyyyy back when they did IASCA, that's why they didn't do termlab before one of you asks -Installer for Duke's Car Stereo 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix - Ported Eaton M90 S/C, 3.5" pulley, XS Power Headers, 1.9 Rockers, FWI, Poly Motor Mounts, Custom Tune. DDSPL-I AM A SCAMMER Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 once every 2 years seems sufficient?
sully Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 Depends on use and abuse. Don't drop it or I would get it calibrated, or after excessive use it would be a good idea. I'm with DDSPL on the every 2 years if it is only used on occasion 2003 Ford F-150 Reg Cab layin body on 26's 2003 Tahoe 3/5 drop on 26's with a 408cid Supercharged engine. 2011 Camaro 2SS 2005 VW GTI Stage II ECU, CAI, 3" turbo back exhaust, FMIC, lowered 2" on some plastidipped 18's 2003 Hayabusa lowered, stretched, cams, nitrous and custom paint
