Hey guys i was hoping some of you who have reconed subs before could help me out to find a good bit i could use on my drill too shave off all the glue and get the frame down to bare metal so it nice and clean. Would i be able to do it with just sand paper or would it be too hard to get all the glue off? Also you have any tips for a first timer reconing a subwoofer? Like whats a few things you wish you knew before you went into reconing your first sub. I would hate to mess this up it would be an expensive mistake... any of you ever messed up a recone?

I would use a scotch lock mandrel with a scotch bright wheel in a right angle die grinder to remove the glue. You can use a wire wheel too just be careful not to dig the basket.
