Jassen Shultz
do u have box rise with 4th order box's
Triticum Agricolam
No such thing as "box rise", its just impedance. All subwoofers have an impedance curve and when you put that sub in a box the box will change what the impedance curve looks like. Different styles of boxes will change the impedance in very different ways. Also, by "4th order" I assume you mean a 4th order bandpass box? Ported boxes are 4th order's as well. Jassen Shultz
with the impedance change I was wondering how much is normal for the impedance to change in a 2:1 4th order box
Triticum Agricolam
with the impedance change I was wondering how much is normal for the impedance to change in a 2:1 4th order box Change compared to what? Compared to the impedance of the sub in free air, its going to change it a lot, it will be higher than the free air impedance at some frequencies and lower at others. Totally different really. So whats your concern with impedance change anyway? Jassen Shultz
with a 4th order box will the impedance change like a ported box or a sealed box
hdorre
with a 4th order box will the impedance change like a ported box or a sealed box rise is generally greater with a 4th order bandpass than a 4th order.
