How do I tune my amp controls?

Boost should be all the way off, lpf at 80hz or lower, ssf will depend on the tuning of your enclosure.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Well basically the ssf should be set a little lower than the port tuning frequency to keep the sub from unloading and damaging itself. A sealed box doesn't have this issue. The LPF would be set somewhere below 150hz to keep the sound image up front. The boost you shouldn't need but some systems can benefit from a little boost around 45hz. Use the search function to dig all this good stuff up. I have learned tons in my short time here.

Yeah 150hz would be kind of high, it depends on how low the front stage can play.
