New sub setup ideas

Ok so I just picked up a new matching 12. Gonna take some measurements of my trunk. Anyone willing to help me with a box design? Gonna put it together this weekend

Should I run the new sub by itself for a while to break it in? Only had my current sub about a year but it's gotten a ton off play. Break it in and then put them together in a dual sub enclosure

if you feel like it, go ahead and swap it now, personally i've never really bought into the break in period idea, just don't push it to hard the first few days

19"D x 30"W x 15.5"H Is the space that I have to work with... Not sure if that will be enough room..... This was another reason I was thinking of going with a dual 10" system. I know there's some crazy design guys in here that can hopefully help me out.

those dimensions come out to 4 cu. ft. gross volume so going to be tight. you might start a new thread asking for a box design, might draw more attention from the box builders on here.

subs only require 1.71ft 3 so thats more that enough room right?
