ChevyBoy
so i decided i needed a little bit of bass. i havent fiberglassed in a while, so it sounded like the right thing to do . i know its damn sure not the cleanest work, nor the best work, but like i said, its been a while. i tried mixing the resin with some microflock, but that didnt work. too much microflock fell into the cup, so i tried working with it rather than wasting it. it actually spread out kind of nicely once i spread some resin on it. right now its looking at about 2 layers in most areas. i know i have some bubbles, but im gonna sand them away from the back side since theyre on the first layer of glass. other than that, leaves some feedback/criticism. ill be getting around to working on this when i can. btw, itll be for an rf hx2 10. sean 371
Unless youre spray gluing the foil on, I haaate using it. It messes up an otherwise smooth mold. I usually just spray some wd40 on tha bish before i start glassing. Any tape that comes with i just leave...maybe resin over and prep/paint if i want to, but it usually doesnt matter. ChevyBoy
actually i pulled the mold out. that was the worst part. the tape actually pulled off the back really easily in most spots. ill just sand the tape off the back.
