MitchChambers12 Posted April 16, 2016 Report Posted April 16, 2016 I have a Rockford Fosgate T1 15 (the newest model) and I've wanting a louder setup. I bought the box built to Rockfords box recommendations and I still want it louder. I have been debating on trying to tweak my setup or renovating it, but I've been thinking on buying a sundown X-15. I'm here basically asking which would perform better. Any help would be wonderful! Thanks!

Going from one 15" sub to another 15" sub on the same power isn't likely to make much difference. What amp are you running and what vehicle is this in? MitchChambers12 Posted April 16, 2016 Author Report Posted April 16, 2016 I'm running a Hifonics Zeus 600watt amp in my 2003 supercrew cab F-150. I know the sub is under powered, but I've had the sub bottom out before and I don't want to damage the sub.

What song were you listening to when this happened? Before throwing money at a different sub you should probably get a bigger amp, that sub should take 2.5-3 times the power you are giving it now. You may be able to gain by changing to a different box too.
