Assuming it is, adding a third sub would get you another 1.5 dB of output, in theory. That's not much of a upgrade. You could put more power to three subs though, so there is potential for more gain. That's not to say you won't be able to get a little louder, but don't expect a ton of difference. d-nice88 Posted April 21, 2016 Author Report Posted April 21, 2016 So I should just get maybe some platform 2 psi 12's and make a good box for them and they would be louder then the sa''s since the high power ones are 1800 rms a piece. Would that suffice the more power and make a bigger box for them? The audio legion 3500 has shown it can put out way more then rated. And I have plenty of batt power and h/of power for it as well.
