Nealon14 Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 Anyone on here familiar with nissan versa 2012 engine stuff? i bought a HO alt and dont know how to take off the belt off this car to get the new alt in. if anyone can help me out. i can try to get some pics up later. or if you already know that would be great. It seems as though the bottom bolt to take out the old alternator can not come out because this smooth rotating wheel wrapped around with the sperentine belt is in the way, so maybe i have to move that out of the way some how because the bolt wont budge its right up to the belt/wheel. if anyone knows how to do this or has done this before let me know thanks. I checked the service manual but it was useless it just says if u need your belt replaced take it to the dealer to get it replaced and it does not tell you how. I tried googling and you tubing videos but i cant seem to figure it out for my car there is no 14mm socket like all the other car for a tensioner.

Nealon14 Posted April 28, 2016 Author Report Posted April 28, 2016 the last picture on the second page is exactly how my drive belt location looks. i think you can see where the bottom bolt for the alt cant come out because the belt is in the way.
