I'm trying to install my own alarm.

I have the shock sensor in place, the headlamp light connected and that is pretty much it.

I would like to know how to wire up the door lock relays.

The12volt.com gives me the location and color and that is it.

Wiring Guide.

Bottom right is where the relays are.

I know common is ground and I would like to know what wires go where.

I talk to an installer buddy of mine and he says one side of the alarm needs a constant 12v and the other is hooked to the relay's.

Anyone with experience or a website that shows what to do would be appreciated.

Thanks.

P.S. I tried to have it done professionally but they handed me some B.S. and they tried to sell me one of theirs.

I don't beleive I'm responding to this post. LOL

The alarm has a built in relay or external relay?

Is the Bronco II have factory or after-market door locks?

I hate doing alarms bro. It take me anywhere from 3-8hours on a basic alarm just beause I am picky about running wires. On top of that I won't touch any new cars either. Just too many damn wires.

I need to pull my notes when I get home on how to wire up a positve and negative pull factory door locks. If its after market actuators then its a little easier but not much.

According to your wiring off the12volt your door locks are straight negative trigger(activating a relay).

Connect violet to ground, and your blue wire to the factory unlock wire.

Connect violet/black to ground, and green/black to the factory lock wire.

Thank you, my man.

So just leave the other wires alone then? Tape them off or what-not.
