I picked up this minty head unit solely as a backup after sending my never used back up Kenwood KDC-MP919 to Peru for my second cousin to enjoy. (What? Deeznutz Posted May 13, 2016 Author Report Share Posted May 13, 2016 Yeah, from what I've read the players made after 2004 do not have the same range of features like the older ones. Like the MK series has Time Alignment but the "steps" are smaller in comparison to the CD8443 and CD8454. As far as the buttons go, the CD5442 have firmer buttons than the CD8443 and CD8454.
