Wassup everybody, quick question I have 2 SQ HDC3 12S. Dual 4s I plan to run @ 1ohm, currently there on a brz.1700d.@1 The HDc3s are laughing at da 1700. However my big bro has 2 mono blocks ( XTR2500.1 OR LANZAR OPTI 3000D) he says should push them better. He said for me $150 each, getting out of the music game, he say he getting 2 old lol anyway, they both work and I've heard both of them in his setups, and man do they pound...the Lazar is the older model not the ones with the plastic end caps. Both are in mint condition...any input on these amps? I'm torn. Even if they are trash I will be getting one of them, so keep the comments like get a DC,SUNDOWN,CRE. Oh yeah my electrical is>>> big 3 mechman 240, yellow top under hood, XS Power D3400 in the trunk. Any input would be appreciated.

Since you are getting these from your brother, I'd suggest hooking them both up and seeing if you like the performance of one over the other.

Also, going from 1700 watts to 2500 watts you probably won't even hear the difference, going from 1700 to 3000 you might hear a small difference, maybe. My suggestion would be before you spend any money on different equipment you should make sure you are getting the most out of what you have now. How do you have your gains set? What are the specs on the box the subs are in? What kind of vehicle is it?
