Tuning ideas needed

Whats the lowest you would tune a box. Its got 6 12" subs and slot ported. I can add to the port if need. Its a daily driver. But i like the low notes. And if i tune real low whats the drawbacks if any?

the lower you tune the flatter the response will be as you increase in frequency, but at the cost of output. Similar to enclosure size. Smaller enclosure will help provide a flatter response and mechanical control across a larger bandwidth at the cost of output, larger will peak more at tuning so it will be louder there, but at the cost of mechanical control and output across the same bandwidth.

A daily driver on unedited music I would recommend tuning at 35hz. Slowed or edited music with frequencies below 30hz, I'd say tune 28-32hz, depending on the lowest frequency that will be played.

It takes more effort to produce the same level of output the lower you go. Tuning lower will decrease the peak output level of your system.
