Hickey21 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Share Posted April 22, 2008 Since you were running them before i said i'd as i have one solo x 18 and 2 sx1250.1 whats the best box for them for both streetbass and spl at the mo its in a 10qubes at 35hz but only hittin 145.9 on the audio control but she does go very low on songs shaking the car next to me and i wanna keep this but wanna break the irish record of 152.2 that my mate set last week he runnin 4 jlw3 12s and a jbl2200 amp but his box and port are way bigger but mine does go lower and i wanna keep that if i can Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

SPL2K Posted April 22, 2008 Report Share Posted April 22, 2008 Its really tough to get both high SPL and good low bass from the same enclosure. Interchangeable ports will help a little but you still wont be able to get your full SPL potential. The 152.2 should be very easy to reach but you will have to make the box MUCH smaller and you will lose all your low bass that you have now.
