1st ported box need help

OK I was put in charge of a sub and enclosure for an Ambulance my friends are turning into a tailgate truck. 215A alt multiple batteries etc etc. I have a Hifonics 1500w @ 1ohm (there budget) I bought the sub (they think a JBL at best buy slams), I bought a SSA XCON 15". I have a space of 32.5 W x 20.5 H x 14.5 deep. I've built several sealed boxes just not ported. I'm very capable with building. Tried calculators and I get confused with the port space. I don't care if its aero or slot, looking for 32HZ?? Willing to take suggestions. Can someone help me with port dimensions etc etc

With those specs you will only be able to building a box 3.0 net cubes with 1x8" round port 30 inches long. Which gives tuning of 35 Hz. that box is on the small end of what SSA recommends. If you could squeeze out a couple more inches somewhere it would really help.

I wish I had free reign over where and how big the box could be. It's not my ambulance lol I just said I'd pick a sub and build an enclosure where he said he wanted it to go... The exact specs of the slot where it's going is 33x20.7x14.7.. I was giving myself a little wiggle room. The biggest problem I see is its only 14.7 deep and the port and sub have to face forward. I'm really trying not to go sealed but maybe I don't have a choice

So I plugged in some numbers and not sure if this is right but if I have 4.2cuft after sub displacement for 35hz I could do a 6" aeroport and 11" long ?? Or Two 4" ports at 11" (not sure if that's 5.5" each or 11" each)
